The value of appreciation

As business owners, we try our best to satisfy our customers and often we feel that it actually is a hit and miss as appreciation is not always shown and when it is Oh Boy Oh Boy do we bask in the sunshine as this is the aim – to have a happy client/customer.

Once in a while a business gets feedback as Tawny van Breda (nee Gardner) of Zing Events and Promotions got for her services as an Event Planner. Always great to share a happy story:

“A few years back at the peak of my business with marketing at the forefront of gaining that extra bit of growth in our retail field, I knew that I had to find somebody who would understand my business philosophy and goals I had to find the somebody with the same passion and drive to achieve the high standards I had set within my business. That person was Tawny Gardner. From the first meeting where I would give a vague idea of what I want, to the final event she planned – she always managed to surprise me beyond my wildest expectations. Over the years I have put complete trust in her when it comes to planning an event and decided to go to her for the biggest event – My wedding. What an amazing wedding it turned out to be. Everything was planned to perfection. Now when I look to planning any event – I have Tawny from Zing Events and Promotions on speed dial.”

So let’s try to show appreciation when a vendor gives good service – a simple thank you with a smile usually does the trick.
